Natural cremation ashes

Your jewellery will be unique and will depend very much on the size and colouration of the ashes you send to us.

You can rest assured that your jewellery is made using the ashes you send us, and that any ashes that are not used will be returned to you with your piece of jewellery.  The ashes of your loved one are treated with the utmost respect.

Ashes Sending Kits

Once we’ve received your order and payment, your kit will be sent out by second class post to your chosen address.     

·       These instructions are included in the kit.

·       The kit includes a container for your ashes, a bag to seal the container in for extra security, and an addressed returns envelope. The bag and the container will be marked with your name and order number.

·       Don’t send all the ashes - we only need  quarter of a teaspoon. 

·       Don’t completely fill the pot, as the ashes might spill when it’s opened. Make sure it’s well sealed.

·       Place the sealed container into the labelled plastic bag and seal the bag.

·       We promise only the ashes you send are used.  Any that are not used will be returned.

·       Your chosen funeral directors, crematorium or pet crematorium should be able to provide a teaspoon of ashes if you ask them. Always keep some ashes back. Don’t send all the ashes you have received.

·       When you’ve completed and sealed the whole kit, return it to us using Royal  Mail 48 hour tracked and signed for delivery.

·       Then you must email us with your Order Reference Number together with your Royal Mail tracking number.

Tip:   When putting the ashes into the pot, put a clean piece of paper underneath the pot so you can catch any spilt ashes. If you’re anxious or nervous about doing this, ask a friend or family member for help.

If you have any problems accessing your loved one’s ashes, please do not order.  This might be due to family wishes or urns that have been sealed.    

Do not send all the ashes you have kept just in case they are lost in the post, or we need you to send us more. We cannot take responsibility for loss of your kit in the post.

Hair and fur

Your piece of jewellery will be unique due to the colouration of the hair or fur, and of the resin.  Please be aware that white or very light colour hair or fur may not be seen as clearly inside the resin.

We’ll need a lock of hair or fur of about 3 cm long and 1 cm wide.  If you send light coloured or white hair, please send a little bit more.  If possible, the lock should be tied together at the top with a piece of cotton thread so it is kept together. Always keep some hair or fur back. Don’t send all the hair or fur you have received or collected.

A lock of hair from a loved one can be supplied by your funeral director, and animal fur by your vet or veterinary nurse if you ask them.

Hair or Fur Sending Kit

·       The kit includes a container for your hair or fur, a bag to seal the container in for extra security, and an addressed returns envelope. The bag and the container will be marked with your name and order number.

·       Once you have received your kit, tie your hair or fur with a small piece of cotton thread so it keeps all together, put it in the supplied container, and seal the container well.  If you’re unable to tie this with a piece of cotton, please send an evenly cut piece of hair or fur.

·       Place the sealed container into the labelled plastic bag and seal the bag.

·       We promise you that the hair or fur you send will be used and any unused hair or fur will be returned to you with your order.

·       When you’ve completed and sealed the whole kit, return it to us using Royal  Mail 48 hour tracked and signed for delivery.

·       Then you must email us with your order number and Royal Mail tracking number for our reference.

Do not send all the hair or fur you have kept just in case they are lost in the post, or we need you to send us more. We cannot take responsibility for loss of your kit in the post.

Your own other inclusions

If your intended inclusions are not ashes, hair or fur please email us details so we can be sure that we can help you. Please don’t place an order or send any inclusions until we have agreed in writing by email that these are suitable to be included in the jewellery.
